i don't want to wake up from you.

yesterday we fell asleep at the park
and got reallllllly sunburned.
like, real bad.
but then as we were laying in our beds last
night with ice packs on our legs,
it started snowing, so that made us feel better.
we're actually glad it's snowing right now.
for a minute there, we were worried
we might actually get a spring.
close call.

spring semester is great.
s'mores anyone?

i don't like to blog about my feelings.

not that you would,
but we don't want you to worry about us
not communicating with each other
while we're apart for these next few days.

and anyway, worrying is for warts.
and warts are gross.

if you ever come back.

well. we're done.
and it feels pretty dang good.
or, pretty D good.

today has been a day of mixed emotions,
and we cleaned our room.
like really, really, cleaned it.
since people are moving out left and right down here,
we were beginning to feel a little left out.
it may have taken hours,
but we dun cleaned it good.

we're going to enjoy our short little break
with a little TLC in SLC,
and then it's back to the books for a few more weeks.
that's okay, though,
because thatcher gets back in 33 days,
and we may or may not have some pretty exciting news
to share with you soon.
and when we say "pretty exciting,"
that is precisely what we mean.
we'll keep you posted.

life is good.

have a great weekend.

i dun kilt dat test.

most things > studying for finals.

this video happens to fall under
the category of "most things."
consider it our tribute to andy mockler.
as missionaries continue to leave,
we continue to come up with better ways to honor them.
this is by far our greatest triumph.
enjoy it, or don't.
just like always, the choice is yours.

happy finals.
take that for what it's worth.

you don't really want to fall in love.

we really like to run,
and our friends really like to run,
and utah really likes runners,
as evident by these photos.

seriously, though.
it was so beautiful yesterday.
we could get all poetic about it,
and tell you about how the earth was steaming and alive,
and how it was lit by that post-thunderstorm glow.
but we won't.
seriously, though.
it honestly felt like we were in a different country.

is utah for real?
turns out, it is.
and we couldn't be happier about it.

here's our pretty cool running group:

here's to a beautiful, warm, rainy, sunny
spring in provo, ut.
(did we just say that?
yes. turns out, we did).

one less hungry girl.

it's officially "finals week."
whatever that means.
well, actually, it means stupid youtube videos.
hundreds and hundreds of stupid, stupid videos.

this has gotta be our favorite so far:

if you find any other winnas,
feel free to inform us via our facebook walls.

sometimes, you have to get out.

classes. are. over.

who even cares about finals?
not us.
but we should.
we'll start caring about them tomorrow.

"tomorrow" is always a good excuse.

we've got more important things to do.

there's something about finals week in winter semester.
it makes us want to stay up real late.
last night we killed it in the library until it closed at 2.
there's apparently an unwritten rule that after about 12:30,
the whole library becomes a no-shh zone.
we were fine with that though, because our table
was pretty much a no-shh zone the entire night anyway.

so our weekend was pretty rad.
we headed up to plain city (ogden) to visit andy's mom.
boy was that a treat.
she made the most delicious dinner,
and, count 'em, two delicious desserts.
also, attending church in plain city was like
attending church in a different state.
it was like a cultural island up there.
no, not literally an island,
but one sister did grace the congregation
with an "alooohaa," which further demonstrates our point.
she wasn't even hawaiian.
just kidding, she was.

so, finals time.
just one more day of school and a few more tests
and then we're home free until spring semester starts.

see ya on the other side.

recess, break and fast.

it is friday night and we are killin' it.
we've been killin' it all week, really.
here's the part where we explain why.

it actually all started yesterday.
we woke up just in time to miss taylor b.'s
8am class, which was just fine.
taylor o. and natalie attend the temple
every thursday morning, and after a particularly
difficult night, the asked if taylor b. wanted to come.

to: "do you want to come?"

tb: "i can't. i have class.

okay, i'll come.
but what time will we be back?
i have a paper due at 5 that i need to start.
and finish."

to: "we'll be back in plenty of time."

tb: "okay. i'm in.

actually, let's get some breakfast afterward.
kneader's french toast?"

to: "i thought you had a paper you needed to work on."

tb: "well, yeah. so are we getting french toast then?"

this started it all.
naturally, we had some unlimited french toast
from kneader's, which was unlawfully delicious.
and don't worry, taylor b. turned in her paper
at 5, even though she started it at 4.
impressive? not really.

anyway. it doesn't really matter what
we had for dinner last night,
but we'll tell you anyway.
stir fry.
and for dessert?

and then we decided we hadn't had quite enough pudding.
so we whipped up our staple:
stove-top tapioca.

it accidentally didn't set up, though,
so we drank it instead.
no big.
taylor o. had to buzz off to noteworthy,
so she took hers in a tupperware
with a plastic spoon.
taylor b. did too so she wouldn't feel left out.

but if yesterday was good, today was better.
we hit up a chinese buffet coupled with a dessert buffet.
2nd unlimited meal within 2 days.
not that we have a problem with that,
because clearly, we don't.

now we're holdin' down the fort here at the dollhouse,
killin' it with x-men and x-men II.
sure we have the occasional visitor,
and the occasional visitor will threaten to visit.
but mostly it's just us.
the way it should be.

so, we'll just keep doin' what we do best.

and. that's all folks.

reading assessment #13.

spring is in the air,
and the allergies are tearin' it up.
it's a toss up.
spring or awful allergies?
spring. clearly.
that wasn't even hard.

yesterday was veronica's birthday.
happy birthday to her.

today is thatcher's birthday.
happy birthday to him.

whoah. they're 21.
now there are 3 ages in our apartment.
how many apartments can say they have that?
probably a lot of them.
don't care.

anyway, yes.
happy birthday to our most favorite roommate
and our most favorite missionary.
(soon to no longer be a missionary in,
count 'em,
forty-nine days!!)

enjoy this lovely spring day.
or don't.
doesn't matter either way,
though we'd prefer that you enjoy it.

april is not my fool.

in the end, we're going down.

we don't care what anyone says.
the best things in life are experienced
from an electric shopping cart.

okay, but really.
how cool is this?
this is like every child's dream.
not to mention the excellent beeping noise
this motha made when you shifted it into reverse.
("shifted" it).
don't be jealous, though.
we can't all check off every item on our bucket lists.
bring it on, injured foot.
you got nuttin' on us.

k, but really.
this was the best idea we've probably ever had.
