here's a picture-play-by-play of the weekend.
actually, just saturday.
we didn't take pictures on friday.

first, the BYU game.
the game was pretty fun,
except for the first half.
so. hot.
"sweaty beasts," would be a good way to
describe how we felt.
we won, though, which was pretty cool.





secondly, taylor found out
while at the game that she made it
into the BYU womens' acapella group, "noteworthy."
you know, the group that was on
the tv show "sing off" last year?
when she got the call,
taylor b. was ready with the camera
and snapped this cameo shot:


we think it's prof pic worthy.

next, we went to a fun dessert party to celebrate
hayley heath's 20th birthday.
wowza! she ain't a teenager no more,
and will probs be engaged soon.
that was pretty fun,
and it was a mess. in a good way, naturally.
hayley is 2 years older than taylor o. right now.
hence the "2" fingers being held up in this photo:



finally, as we walked into hayley's apartment complex,
we saw this lovely couple cuddling on the couch
while surfing the internet.
when we left 2 hours later,
they hadn't moved even a muscle.
now THAT'S dedication.
they must really love each other.
cuties.



our first week of school went well,
and though we have a lot of homework,
we really like our classes and teachers.
this semester is bound to be a promising one.

one a final note,
yesterday was isaac's birthday,



and today is philip's birthday.



happy 19th, guys!
they're both leaving on their
missions in just a few weeks,
and we're bound to miss them tonz.

good news!

taylor b. got her ears pierced!
at claire's of course. which is located at south towne mall.
we also discovered that there are all sorts of fun things going on at the mall.
examples:

taylor o. went out of the shop to snap the next shot,
and almost got ran over by this train.

when taylor b.'s grandma saw taylor's ears she said,
"oh. i always hoped that at least one of my granddaughters wouldn't get their ears pierced."

taylor's shirt says: "no time for haters

haters."

if you need to go the bathroom,
just strap your child in this convenient stall child-restraint seat.
ur kidz rnt goin NOwhere baaabi.

this is taylor b. with vance and channing.
we met them in a novelty shop and shared
a relaxing massage moment in these $3,000 chairs.

finally to end the night,
we got the pallies together for a birthday dinner at
cheesecake factory. the wait was 2 hours.

we got a free piece of cheesecake
for guessing our waiter's age. mike: age 28.

we're pretty sure you'll be hearing more about mike soon.
he invited us to a loom concert:
"they like screeeeam. but the lyrics are so inspirational and uplifting!"
they're performing in provo. so, we're clearly going.

in other news:
congratulations to ben taylor,
who is now an official missionary.
he entered the mtc today at 1:15am,
(just kidding)
and on march 29th, he leaves for tokyo, japan.
we love him, and will miss him a lot.

and, it's a four-day weekend this weekend.
but it always is for us. jealous? we are. of ourselves.

he is nineteen today, october the 15th, 2009.
we can't even believe it.

in honor of this day, we're listing 1+9 things about ben.

1. "when i fell off my knees, it was too much."
ben is GOOD at walking on his knees.

2. speddy.

3. music.
ben is a VERY musical person. he is incredible.
along with that, he is very passionate about it.
our favorite thing is when we find a song we can share a love for.
we play it over and over again, and sing at the top of our lungs.
we often text lyrics back and forth.
taylor swift is in this category.

4. juanita.
he has a small toyota pickup truck. her name is juanita.
she comfortably seats one person and a violin.

5. he loves christmas.
we've spent many hours discussing how much ben loves christmas.
we've filmed christmas talk shows.

6. he has the kiss of death.
again, don't ask, don't tell.
good philosophy, huh?

7. facial expressions.
ben makes better facial expressions than anyone else we know of.
we won't show you proof though. sorry.

8. ben-standard time.
this is a part of who ben is.
we wouldn't expect anything less.

9. ben's fishing vest.
or lack of said fishing vest.
someday, eddie bauer will lower their dang prices.

10. ben's family and friends.
ben is one of the most loving and devoted people we know.
he puts his family above everything else,
and his good friends closely follow.
subsequently, they [we] love him too!
