aceto balsamico.

taylor b. here.
i'm pretty passionate about current events,
and currently, the event everyone is talking about
is obviously the death of usama bin laden.
after much thought and research,
i've formulated an opinion.
my intent as a writer and as an involved
citizen is not to promote disdain or "prove" anything,
but to provoke thought among those
who are also interested in the same things i'm passionate about.
i hope i'm able to do that
if you so choose to read what i have to say,
which you can find here.

yes, i know, this is not a typical "taylor squared" post,
but i felt it acceptable to share at this time.

in other news, we do have some news for y'all.
stay tuned.

i don't want to wake up from you.

yesterday we fell asleep at the park
and got reallllllly sunburned.
like, real bad.
whoops.
but then as we were laying in our beds last
night with ice packs on our legs,
it started snowing, so that made us feel better.
we're actually glad it's snowing right now.
for a minute there, we were worried
we might actually get a spring.
close call.

spring semester is great.
s'mores anyone?

i don't like to blog about my feelings.

not that you would,
but we don't want you to worry about us
not communicating with each other
while we're apart for these next few days.

and anyway, worrying is for warts.
and warts are gross.

if you ever come back.

well. we're done.
d.u.n.
and it feels pretty dang good.
or, pretty D good.
whichever.

today has been a day of mixed emotions,
and we cleaned our room.
like really, really, cleaned it.
since people are moving out left and right down here,
we were beginning to feel a little left out.
it may have taken hours,
but we dun cleaned it good.

we're going to enjoy our short little break
with a little TLC in SLC,
and then it's back to the books for a few more weeks.
that's okay, though,
because thatcher gets back in 33 days,
and we may or may not have some pretty exciting news
to share with you soon.
and when we say "pretty exciting,"
that is precisely what we mean.
we'll keep you posted.

life is good.

have a great weekend.

i dun kilt dat test.

most things > studying for finals.

this video happens to fall under
the category of "most things."
consider it our tribute to andy mockler.
as missionaries continue to leave,
we continue to come up with better ways to honor them.
this is by far our greatest triumph.
enjoy it, or don't.
just like always, the choice is yours.

happy finals.
take that for what it's worth.

you don't really want to fall in love.

we really like to run,
and our friends really like to run,
and utah really likes runners,
as evident by these photos.

seriously, though.
it was so beautiful yesterday.
we could get all poetic about it,
and tell you about how the earth was steaming and alive,
and how it was lit by that post-thunderstorm glow.
but we won't.
seriously, though.
it honestly felt like we were in a different country.

is utah for real?
turns out, it is.
and we couldn't be happier about it.

here's our pretty cool running group:

here's to a beautiful, warm, rainy, sunny
spring in provo, ut.
(did we just say that?
yes. turns out, we did).
