another one bites the dust.

yesterday was
inconvenience yourself day.
we had a lot of great things planned for this day,
but basically all of them fell through.
that's okay though,
because fate decided that we needed to celebrate anyway.

our internet here at #301 was out for the entire day.
if you ask us, that's pretty inconvenient.
but instead of getting all mad,
we were thrilled.
what better way to celebrate?

as it turns out,
inconvenience yourself day is now one of our favorite holidays.
go figure.
plus, now that it's over,
we're one day closer to another letter,
and another episode of LOST.
plus, our shower drain is fully functioning now!
win-win all around.

"so, i have a question/good news for you.
first of all, the good news. i am going to move out in the fall! yaaaay.
do you like the place where you live?"
---leslie.

um, gurrrl. get over here.

we love that---taylor & taylor.

2% reduced fat milk; 35% less fat than regular milk.

happy curling is cool day!
happy international house of pancakes free pancake day!

in honor of these holidays,
we're going to watch LOST,
do homework,
go to rehearsal,
eat chinese food,
& maybe enjoy some free pancakes.
we'll see how long the line is.

"it doesn't really matter how you celebrate
a holiday, just as long as you celebrate it."
---taylor brin berhow.

that may be true for today,
but not for tomorrow.
you'll see why.

hope you all had a great day,
and are looking for more fantastic celebrations to come.

i'm 40 miles away.

happy single tasking day!

you have probably been able to pick up on the
fact that we love to celebrate around here.
so, we're celebrating single tasking day today, by single tasking.

this means that when we took these pictures,
that's all and exactly what we were doing.

for everyone who hasn't had the chance to single task today,
it is not too late.
so put down that phone, or pick it up.
the choice is yours.

it's going to be a good week.
you just wait and see what we've got planned.

"you should be. it's not very often that you get to see me single tasking." ---taylor o.

we love that---taylor & taylor.

the trio is better when he all sings at once.

we're not that youtube savvy,
so we just barely discovered this.
but the late discovery didn't make it any less hilarious.

"that car matches the house!" ---taylor o.
"hey, can i get a ride?" ---taylor b.
"i don't have a car." ---taylor o.

tonight, i'm going to twitch.

all is well at the dollhouse these days.
the long weekend was really enjoyable for us,
so we hope you enjoyed yours too.

taylor b. soaked up some rays down south this weekend,
so that was pretty neat.

by these pictures, you wouldn't be able to really
tell that she was there.
but trust us when we say, "she really was."
and she got her brother a cool nike las vegas t shirt
for valentine's day.

but, uh-oh. she hasn't given it to him yet,
so hopefully he won't read today's post.
but we're not that worried about it,
because worrying is for warts.

another great thing that happened to her in vegas
was the ".99 cent only" store.

they don't have these puppies in utah, no sir.
but you can bet that hours were spend going up and down
every isle, finding just the best bargains imaginable.
6 tomatoes for $.99?
you'd better believe it.
and lot's of other great stuff too.

why people go to vegas to spend money in casinos
instead of this magical place, is a real mystery.
but then again, life is full of mysteries of sorts.
if you were to ask someone,
"hey, is life full of mysteries?"
they'd answer, "yes."

anyway, the weather was nice in st. george/las vegas.
mid-60s to 70s and sunshine all-day, everyday.
plus, taylor o. got to see a great young ambassador's
performance, and spend some quality
time with the fam here in salt lake.

tomorrow, #301 is footin' four tests.
economics (hahahahaha), song writing, human bio & one other.
we'll let you know about that last one when we remember
what class it is for.
time to get back to the real world.

"an odd trait of the jackalope is its ability to imitate the human voice."
--- another postcard.

we love that---taylor & taylor.

p.s. congrats to benjamin coburn.
call: paris, france.

departure: june, 2010.

[and to sean, his roommate, who also leaves for paris, france,
(a.k.a the provo mtc) on the exact same day this june!]

in their honor,
here is a fake eiffel tower:

french is the language of love.
ooh lah lah.
that's why taylor o. gets so many dates.

taylor³.

just like we promised,
we celebrated today.

and also as promised,
cookies were clearly involved.
Holla Day followed us to all our favorite places today.
but that wasn't very hard, because all our favorite places
are really only in our one favorite place: the kitchen.

plus, we had a lot of fun doing....
homework!

and, this picture inspired us to share one of our favorite
quotes from the infamous john locke (the LOST version).

[see quote below]

anyway, like all good days in our lives,
Holla Day has also come to a close.
but you can bet we'll find some way
to bring it, bring it back, next year.

"two players, two sides.
one is light.
one is dark."

---john locke.

we love that---taylor & taylor.

and to ally and lisa:
holllllla!
we feel your blog theme this month
is rather appropriate for our holiday.
and, remember how that one picture of ourselves
inspired us to post a john locke quote?
well, it also inspired us to resurface this little treasure.
happy Holla Day, guys.

we could make a cake easily.

tomorrow = two, ten, twenty, ten.
or 2/10/2010.
or febuary 10th, 2010.
or 10-02-2010.
or febuary tenth, of the year two-thousand and ten.
or febuary the tenth, in the two-thousand and tenth year of our lord.

anywho,
we're celebrating.
with whom you might ask?
just ourselves.
maybe karissa if she comes over to work on economics.
but it's a celebration, nonetheless.
with lot's of homework,
and lot's of, yes, you guessed it:
cookies.

in a sense, tomorrow shouldn't really be
different from any other day.
but we don't like to look at it that way.
after all, we need all the holidays we can get.

plus, who doesn't love a holiday with numbers and food?
it's like the more mature version of PI DAY,
because it doesn't actually have to do with math.

"vanilla?" ---taylor b.
"uhhh. no. twist." ---karissa urry.

we just love that---taylor & taylor.

stories by nicholas sparks.

it's bigger and it's better.

tonight taylor o. and veronica played that game at FHE.
their team won because they ultimately traded
a paper clip for a large love sac.

one time, tyler young told us a story about
how a man decided to play that game is whole life.

okay, maybe we're getting ahead of ourselves.
in the game
"bigger and better,"
you start with a paper clip,
and then go around trading it for various items
that are bigger and better.
you win by ending up with the
biggest and best item.
simple, right?

so this guy that we were telling you about,
he played this game his whole life.
he won because he ended up with a house.
the story goes, that he traded a leading role
in a movie for this house of his.
can you believe that?
we certainly can't, no matter how hard we try to.

and anyway, a house isn't the biggest or the best
item you could end up with in our opinion.

but, hats on to the guy who came up with that lie.

someone should still eat this cookie.

first of all,
regarding the bachelor,
we're on team tenley.

second of all,
we hope y'all got to see the premiere
of the final season of LOST tonight.
let's just say we had the pals over for a real party.
and yes, cookies were involved.
as they always are.

taylor b. really likes LOST.
she really, really, really likes it.

and thanks to josh and ashley.
ashley because she cleaned taylor b.'s teeth yesterday. bada-bing.
and josh because tonight on LOST,
he translated the japanese before the other characters could.
so we knew that the man was saying a split-second before the rest of the world.
jealous? we are.

one more announcement.
we're planning our first annual purim feast.
so, if you want in, then get in.
it's going to be quite the event.

and finally, on friday we'll be seeing dear john,
just like any girl who loves love should be.
after all,
we love love. <3
but that doesn't surprise us,
because that is just the type of girls we are.
so, MUAH xoxoxo.
"heaven in a bowl." ---taylor o.

we <3 that --- taylor & taylor.

Monday, February 1, 2010

someone should eat this cookie.

evenin' sunshine!
we have a few things to catch you up on.
the first is that it is no longer january!
this is the best news yet.
so, yeah.

we're sure you all know what this means!
we got to switch the picture on our calendar today.
we were quite disappointed though.
just see for yourself:

january.

febuary.
so. that was basically a major letdown.
we hate that.

another thing that happened?
taylor b. spoke in church on sunday.
she'd like to thank both taylor o. and ally for their suggestions,
because she didn't use either of them. thanks okay though.

taylor o.
"i think you should just spend the whole night
working on your accent.
then, when morning comes, you can just use the
excuse that you don't speak english."
lol.

ally.
"you could add a humorous element. you could just
pronounce all the book of mormon character names wrong,
like 'neff-ie' instead of nephi. byu students love that sort of thing."
rofl. good one.
but not good enough.

finally, after a rockin' FHE tonight,
we came home to this:
probably by some boys who fell in love with taylor b.
after the talk she gave on sunday.
<3 <3 <3
but, we'll hand it to ourselves.
we've never been very good at predicting these types of things.
plus, if anyone wants to know,
we use die-hard brand batteries. so, yeah.

tah.

"well. i don't look like keira knightley." ---taylor o.

her life is average.

we love that---taylor & taylor.

i want some egg salad.

ladies and gentlemen,
hobos and tramps,
cross-eyed mosquitoes and bow-legged ants.
as i stand before you, and not behind you,
i will tell you a story of something
that i know nothing about.

last night at about 2 'o clock this morning,
a truck full of empty bricks,
came rolling down my back alley,
and almost ran over my dead cat.

we rushed him to the hospital,
as slowly as possible.
and there we saw king arthur,
sitting at the 7th corner of his round table,
eating vinegar with a fork.
